Hunan TV "Country Partners" is the first documentary program of China's Rural Revitalization by Hunan Provincial Culture and Tourism Department and Hunan Broadcasting System. This program is based on Hunan countryside, excavating Hunan countryside from different angles, and focusing on Hunan cultural tourism industry, so that more people pay attention to the development of rural cultural tourism.
At 17:20 on September 20, Hunan TV "Country Partners" entered Huangjiabang Village, Mangshan Yao Township, Yizhang County, to show the beauty of Mangshan Yao folk customs. At that time, please listen to the program and enjoy the beauty of Mangshan Yao folk customs!
Huangjiabang Village, located in the border area between Hunan and Guangdong Province, is the largest Yao village in Yizhang County, and also a village with national minority characteristics. Influenced by the geographical location of Hunan and Guangdong Province, the Yao villagers in Huangjiabang Village migrated from Fujian and Guangdong Province. Therefore, the ancestral temples and Jinshi buildings in the village are all integrated with the characteristics of Guangdong region. There are more than 20 characteristic ancient buildings in the village, which are rare in other minority areas.
Huangjiabang Village is a special drum training center. Every family has a drum. Every year, on the 24th of December, the villagers will take out drums to compete with each other and celebrate the festival with shouts and drums. For this reason, the one-sided "barrel drum" scolding competition activities have become the characteristic "First Strange in Mangshan".
In addition to drum racing activities, the custom of "demolishing doors" in Huangjiabang Village also has local characteristics. In the past, when there were busy farming or festivals, when the dining table was not enough, the Yao villagers in Mangshan would unload the door plate to entertain guests. In the future, the door plate banquet would also be used in rural tourism in Huangjiabang Village. Huangjiabang Village door plate banquet is rich in various kinds, including pumpkin, fern roots, rice dumplings made of rice cake, and sweet potato drinks. Most of them are characteristic delicacies handed down from generation to generation by Yao ancestors.
Because of Yao folk culture, Huangjiabang Village has great advantages in developing tourism. In recent years, under the guidance of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, Mangshan Yao Nationality Township has responded positively to the great call of the country's Rural Revitalization and carried out regional linkage with surrounding villages such as Huangjiabang Village. How can Huangjiabang Village, adjacent to Mangshan Scenic Area, realize the linkage between scenery and village by virtue of its unique geographical location, ecological advantages and rich Yao culture, and upgrade the global linkage model of Damangshan Mountain to promote rural revitalization?
Liu Mengna, the host of Hunan TV, Stephen Silvesley, the president of the Creative Institute of Century Culture and Tourism, and Tang Chengcai, an associate professor of the School of Tourism Sciences, Beijing Second Foreign Languages College, how will they plan for Huangjiabang Village?
